One unit supports various input sources

This single unit can handle various input sources such as 3G/HD/SD-SDI, HDMI, DVI, analog RGB, component, composite, and S-video. Audio can be selected from 2ch embedded audio or stereo analog line input.
* Operation may become unstable if the input signal is interrupted during operation or if the resolution or frame rate of the input signal changes.
In particular, if a signal other than the supported input resolution is input, the encoder must be restarted. Depending on the device on the video output side, such as a personal computer, the output signal may be unstable and an incompatible signal may be input. Turn on the power of the encoder after the signal is stably input to the encoder, or use a frame synchronizer that can stably input the resolution and frame rate before inputting the signal to the encoder. Please design so that the signal to be connected and input to the encoder is kept constant.

Switching and layout display in PGM mode

It can be used like a simple switcher that switches between SDI and one other input video source, picture-in-picture that freely arranges and displays two video sources, and loop that automatically switches video at a set time. PGM channels that support 3 modes can be streamed or recorded as they are.

2 types for each channel Total 6 encoders built-in

Each channel has two encoders, and you can set encoding parameters and distribution destinations for each encoder. It is also possible to mix HEVC and H.264 formats in one channel. A total of 6 encoders are built into this unit, including 2 channels and PGM.

PC not required Operation possible with this unit alone

By connecting a computer monitor, mouse, and keyboard, it is possible to perform all settings and operations of this unit without a computer.

Also supports receiving and displaying IP streams

By using it in combination with another SC6D0 series, you can display, record, and redistribute the sent stream.

OSD display

A 4-plane OSD layer is provided for each input channel, and text, date and time, and still images can be set individually.
*OSD is not displayed when using stream as video source on CH1/CH2. OSD can be displayed for PGM even when the stream is used as the video source.

Support recording

Video can be recorded by connecting a recording medium to the front USB3.0 connector. There is also a function that automatically uploads the recorded video to the set FTP server and automatically deletes the file that has been transferred, so it is possible to record for a long time by combining with the FTP server.
*Because it is necessary to write the necessary data at the end of recording, recording will automatically end when the remaining capacity of the recording medium reaches 2GB. When using the recording function, secure enough free space for the expected recording time.

Still image display function

You can set a still image as the video input source. It is also possible to automatically display a still image when the input signal is interrupted.

SC6D0N1 AIO has a trial version function that can operate as an NDI HX (H.264 format) encoder and decoder for only 30 minutes. By purchasing an optional license, you will be able to use it without the 30-minute limit.
*The NDI HX function is tested for connection compatibility using NDI Video Monitor. Please be sure to perform a preliminary connection test using the evaluation machine and trial version before purchasing.

The functions that can be operated simultaneously differ depending on the settings of each function. Each function can be set up to the upper limit, but not all functions can be used with the upper limit set. When using various functions, please set so that the usage rate of the CPU of this machine is within about 80% on average. If you set a high CPU load factor and use it, distribution and recording may not work properly.

About specifications

The listed specifications describe everything that can be set, but not all functions can be used unlimitedly. It may be restricted by the standard or by the CPU load factor of the function used. If the CPU load factor exceeds 80%, the operation may be affected, so it is necessary to use it at a load factor of 80% or less.

Encoding in H.265 (HEVC)

If you set to deliver with RTMP, the RTMP standard does not support H.265, so even if the encoding mode is H.265, it is forcibly encoded with H.264 and delivered. . Other streams and recordings using the same encoder are also affected by this behavior.

When set to RTSP or HLS distribution, this unit will encode in H265, but if the playback environment does not support H.265 decoding, the video will not be displayed.
